The
following are the various usages of different electrical tapes:
Vinyl electrical tape: A vinyl
electrical tape is made of soft, stretchy vinyl which can conform to the
connection, forming a safe, secure insulating wrap. You can use this tape for
cable marking, jar and can sealing, decoration and more.
Polyester mylar electrical tape: A
polyester mylar electrical tape is thin and conformable, making it a perfect
choice for wrapping coils, capacitors and potentiometers.
Teflon electrical tape: This is ideal
for over-wrapping high voltage coils in a wide range of applications.
Fiberglass cloth electrical tape: This
tape is perfect for wiring harnesses and high temperature non-electrical
applications.
Self-fusing silicone rubber tape: You
can use this tape to cover splices, wrap harnesses and fix small leaks in
hoses.
Cloth friction tape: This tape is ideal
for wrapping wires, cables and harnesses to protect them from damage due to
abrasion or handling.
I am looking for a tape for wrapping wires and cables. Can some suggest a suitable tape for wrapping wires and cables?

DeleteWe suggest Cloth Friction Tape - Black cotton cloth with a non-corrosive rubber resin adhesive. It is very flexible and hand-tearable, and is the perfect tape for wrapping wires, cables and harnesses to protect them from damage due to abrasion or handling.
