Decorative Tape- Types

If you are looking for a tape to decorate some finished products, go for decorative tape. It has a special polyester coating which makes it look like gold or silver, giving a perfect shiny look. Different types of decorative tape can be used to decorate everything, from bicycle helmets to candy jars.

Here are some of the different types of decorative tape:

Colored vinyl tape: This is durable and stretchy and can conform to bottle and jar tops, adding a decorative seal to your product. It is also commonly used for decorative stripes on POP or trade show displays, aisle marking, OSHA safety coding, stripes on boats, ATV's, sports equipment, etc.

Colored duct tape: This tape is the perfect solution for many taping problems. It has excellent water and abrasion resistance, which makes it perfect for temporary repairs on tents and tarps, holding plastic sheeting in place, bundling pipes or wires and light duty sand-blasting mask, etc.

Colored gaffers tape: This extra tough cloth tape has a matte finish that doesn’t reflect light. It is  also perfect for scenery repairs, stage locations, carpet and stage covering installations. Additionally, it can be used to repair vinyl coated fabric upholstery and book bindings.

Colored paper tape: This tape is not only perfect for splicing paper and plastic material through processing machinery, but also ideal for closures on bags and small boxes. As it is printable, you can add your logo or other important information.

Metallized polyester (Mylar) tape: This type of tape comes with a durable mylar film with a high gloss and bright metal finish. It can provide a perfect finishing touch to specialty candy packaging, toys, model cars & airplanes, sporting goods, invitations, fingernails, signs & displays, etc. It can also be used to make highly visible splices in paper and film webs.
