Fiber Optic Cable

I am looking for a network cable that can transmit data over long distances. Which cable should I go for?

You should go for a fiber optic cable. This network cable contains strands of glass fibers inside an insulated casing. Fiber optic cable is designed to transmit data over long distances. It provides high performance data networking and telecommunications.

    1. Fiber optic cable is a cable constructed of glass or plastic fibers with the diameter of human hair. Digital information is carried along the cable as light pulses and is not prone to electromagnetic interference like copper wire cable is. Fiber optic cables have the capacity to carry a lot more information than traditional cables, but they do require distance repeaters.
