Tamper Evident Tape

A tamper evident tape provides protection against tampering. It provides visual and physical evidence that a package may have been tampered with. This tape is particularly useful when sealing high-value products such as electronics and pharmaceuticals. Generally, a tamper evident tape looks like a plain tape until it is lifted or removed, at which point a message appears.  

Printed tape: This type of tape can be printed with a company’s name and logo or other important distinctive features to alert customers if the package has been tampered with. A printed tape can be used for boxes of all sizes as well as for bottles/jars, tins and retail boxes.

Self-destructing tape: A self-destructing tape has serrated edges that cause it to shred to pieces when someone tries to remove it. It also prevents re-application.

Void tape: A void tape is made of tough polyester with a special adhesive that leaves the words "void" and "opened" on the top of the box when it is removed. This tape is perfect for high security shipments like pharmaceuticals, lab samples, money bags, credit cards and other high security shipments.

A void tape is also available with serial numbers and or custom imprints for further security.
